James Mission struggles to keep doors open at new location

A local non-profit is in serious need of your help. The James Mission provides services and clothes/furniture to children and families in the foster care system. Right now they need to find a way to pay for their building or they'll have to move. I'm talking to the non-profits founders on FOX23 News at 9:15.

Backpack Giveaway at Forest Park Christian Church
Forest Park Christian Church will partner with James Mission to hand out 300 backpacks with school supplies. Visitors can also get free food and water, balloons and face paintings. Franklin Birt of RocKFiscH will also perform live at the event.
When: Saturday, Aug. 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Tulsa Volunteers Build Beds To Donate To James Mission, Foster Kids

TULSA, Oklahoma - Some good news as a group of friends got together to makes beds for those who need them. The James Mission had 75 mattresses donated, but it needed the beds to go with them. Andrew Sanders and his friends thought they could help, so they got to work building beds.
